Welcome to the Renaissance, New York City’s newest venue for international
cuisine, elegant weddings and fine-dining special events. Located in the
Astoria and Long Island City communities of Queens, just a few minutes
from Manhattan and the Triboro bridge, our opulent setting accommodates
both private dining escapes and lavish social occasions.

We specialize in creating distinctive, incomparable weddings and events.
We create events that spark, amaze and enchant from the first step through
our welcoming row of French doors. We do this by hand rolling hors d’oeurves
of marvelous flavor and perk—from a New Orleans jazz grilled duck
to Spanish wild rabbit fritters to mushrooms Parisienne. We design toasts
and cocktails specifically for your celebration, limited only by the species
of flowers and tropical fruit infusions available. To dine or host an
event here is to savor the world’s best culinary traditions, and
to benefit from imaginative, contemporary thinking. We pursue the different,
the daring and the delightful, and can’t wait for that guest who
will bring to the table something we haven’t done before. Can you
Indian spice a Marsala chicken? Why, yes. We can.

Our menus reflect the eclectic interests of our well-traveled chefs. From
poussin with gooseberries to pretty purses of brie and chutney, our selections,
featuring flavors from all over Europe and the Pacific Rim, are among
the most original and thought-provoking found anywhere. Can you add that
fruit to a Moroccan Tajine? Why, yes, we can, and wouldn’t a hint
of pomegranate add an unexpected surprise! Can you dress that salmon to
look like a present? Yes, we can. How about a wrap in banana leaf with
a sea of dazzling coconut and saffron?

While we do, indeed, cater to your private party needs, we are not a
hall; we do not have rooms, partitions or even chandeliers. We offer the
exclusivity of one event at a time. Our space, with its award-winning
interior design, is all yours, from balcony to lounge to Romanesque plaza.
Here you will revel in the glow of alabaster lighting and soft golden
marble, the warmth of Mahogany wood, and the paradox of wrought-iron railings
fired so fine, that they evoke gold-spun embroidery. Imagine a romantic
cocktail hour on balconies, and the vistas of candlelit tables 28 feet
below, all set to the sounds of a baby grand piano at the top of the stairs.
As if these were not enough, we also have a state-of-the-art sound and
lighting system to entertain you. Add to this setting lush drapery, a
spacious European-style lounge and, of course, the banter of conversation
about our cuisine of diverse and exceptional beauty.
